Howard, a recent transplant to San Diego, left 4 Hurricanes behind him in Florida, only to bring Hurricane Hilary with him in August, 2023. It was shortly thereafter when he had the unfortunate experience of not only meeting members of the Wise Guyz Band but the questionable judgement of joining the band as their bass player.
Howard started his musical experience as a trumpet player and like many young horn players, the lure of the British Explosion was just too tempting so for the past 60 years he has played the bass in Kansas City and Naples, Florida bands now adding California to the list.
